I'm a bit frustrated today. The scale hasn't really budged in two weeks. In fact, I keep on teetering two pounds more than last week but today, I'm back at 180. I know several factors have to do with what the scale is reading, so I do keep this in perspective. Grrrrr, it just seemed so much easier to drop a couple of pounds "back in the day", before children.

So, today, I will:

1. Eat healthily
2. Work out (weight training today)

Blah, Glad Yesterday is OVER

I totally pigged out last night....And, as I did it, I really did feel awful. I can't believe how SALTY the pizza I ate, tasted. I have to say, it wasn't even good. And certainly not worth the calories.

So, today, I wake up, feeling a bit salt bloated from the 'za, and a tad guilty. But ready to face today with renewed motivation. While I try to give myself one day each week for a splurge.....I just hate it when I over do my splurge. I have to say, it's so darn easy to over do the splurge. ...

I'm so Proud!

Well, me and Randy's exercising, eating healthy routine is rubbing off on my children. I'm soooooo proud!! My eight-year-old is now using our measuring utensils to dish out his breakfast and lunch!!! He is reading the labels on the cereal boxes and other foods and is getting familiar with portion sizes. And, better still, he's incorporating "fruit" as part of his healthy breakfast. I LOVE IT!!! He even has got his older sister and brother in on the act, policing their meals. It's a hoo...

Happy Friday :-)

Today is "check in" day, and I'm doing GREAT.

1. I'm 5 lbs. down total
2. 2.25" smaller in my chest; 1.5" smaller in my waist; 1" smaller in my hips and .5" smaller in my thighs
3. 65 days SMOKE-FREE!!

This week I saw my non-smoking buddies, and they're also doing well. The next quit smoking group starts September 11th, and I'm going to volunteer to help. I hope that I can be an inspiration for others on this very difficult journ...

Happy Thursday!

I had my M.A.P. test....a test that measures your body's efficiency at burning fat (versus glucose, protein) at different target heart rate zones. The test helps you to determine where you should be working to maximize your fat burning potential. The good news is that I have been working out at a good rate for fat burning.
