On Tuesday my husband and I consulted with a personal trainer at our health club. I was concerned, because even after 7 weeks of "religious" exercise and decent eating that I'm not really losing any significant weight. I am seeing some inches come off, but really no change. So, what's up, right?

Well, after some preliminary testing, and probing, he determined that I'm probably working out too "hard" and instead of fat burning, and I'm burning sugar and muscle.....how very frustrating. However, the good news is that I can get a M.A.P. Test to determine what my optimal fat burning "zone" is, and then tailor my current workouts accordingly. Chances are, is that I probably won't have to work out as hard as I have been, yet see better results. My M.A.P. Test is Tuesday morning, so I'll be anxious to get my results and start working out to my fat burnin' benefit.

It's been fun learning so much about healthy eating and getting fit. I'm truly enjoying it and hope that it continues to keep me motivated.
