I didn't lose any weight this week. Just stayed the same. I did stick to my calorie count and exercised, but I think that the exercise calories CK has listed are too much. I am deleting those calories this week and will get a heart rate monitor to help me count them in the future. I am not beating myself up about it, but just realizing that it takes time and over the long haul the weight will come off. Wanting food to satisfy a need for love is much more motivating than wanting to be thin or healthy. So the first step in losing weight for someone with low self esteem is to practice telling oneself that the world is a good place, that you are a good person and that what you do is okay at all times. Be persistent in these thoughts as they will change your life. Once you have increased your self esteem, learn about having power over your thoughts. It is important to enjoy the things I do in my life. Having a positive attitude about my day helps to combat stress. Finding exercise that I like to do and liking the exercise that i do make it more pleasant and enjoyable. I enjoyed riding my new bike today and i rode two miles. the new bike is comfortable and fun.
