The weekend sure did seem to fly by. I got on the scale Fri. night, even though my weigh in isn't until today, and I stayed the same. That's okay because I had a bad week last week. Unfortunately this week doesn't seem to be shaping up any better. I have the dentist on Tuesday, the doctor on Wednesday and a diabetes support group on Thursday, so after work is going to be really busy. Plus I hate the dentist. Ugh!

Work looks like it's going to be another BS week. AW is off to a meeting on Wed and he's the one that dumped on me three weeks ago that started this whole funk. I was warned this a.m. that he is going to take tomorrow off too. Great.... I am still struggling with the dump from last week. At least C will be back.

I worked hard at the gym Fri night and then went dancing. Dancing was fun. They played all the music from 60's and it was great for me. J(daughter #3)& C came along and I think they enjoyed it too. Hubby was tired and had beers at the bar before we went and was like a dancing zombie. He usually just goes home and crashes in bed on Fri night, so I guess it was a challenge for him to even stay up.

I went to the farmers market on Sat with Tam(Daughter #2) and got some great stuff. I tried some chanterelle mushrooms. They were good, but a mushroom is kind of a mushroom if you know what I mean. More flavorful than a white mushroom though.

Sunday we went for a nice bike ride. Then had my parents, daughters #2 & 3 over for dinner. I made stuffed peppers with peppers from the garden, rice, and I ground chicken breasts myself for the meat. I used tomatoes, onions and garlic from the garden for the sauce also. It was really good. But I was beat.

All this great stuff on the weekend and I still can't get myself out of the doldrums because of the job. I read a great newsletter from the happiness club that said "Don't allow what happened to you direct how you feel." and that you have to deal with it positively. I am really having difficulty being positive, but I am going to work on that this week.

I had a bad week last week too. I drank way way to much liquor and went over my calories... I didn't log everything in because I didn't want to admit to myself that I had epic failure moments. *hugs*

Sounds like the weekend was a good one. Sorry you will have another crazy work week! I hope it calms down for ya.
