Feeling Good. Doing Better. Stress is down at work (thanks to C who took on A's desk today). Lost another 1/2 pound.

I really need to find a way to combat the stress. I wrote myself some new affirmations to help combat the work stress. I don't know if they will help or not. It seems like it just depends on what's going on there and who's on my back about what. I need to get a backbone, but my upbringing taught me to be afraid of authority, criticism and just about everything else.

Looking over last week's diary, I see that I was up and down in my calories. I think I also had some food amnesia in there. LOL. Oh well. This is going to be a great week. I can feel it. I had a really good workout yesterday. I ran for almost a minute. Slow. But, still, I was running. I was on the elliptical machine and doing 60+ rpms. I didn't keep track of the time but it was pretty long (for me).

I am off to a good start on the week thanks to hubby who made my salads the last 2 days.

Thank you! It WAS crazy for me. The whole situation was easily resolvable for anyone but the financial side of it was not. My *windfall* doesn't come into my checking account until the 30th and I was determined to not; trying so hard NOT to that is, use one of my 3 paid off credit cards! I couldn't tell my friends about the problem because you know how that goes; everyone knows someone or would offer to do the installation themselves. I did not want a friend, or a friend of friend doing any work on any gas appliance installations so I kept quiet in a time when I did need at least, support and I vented on CK =D instead! I ended up using a family recommended plumber who will bill me end of month--which is like 1-week away!

Congratulations of a good start this week. The hardest part of exercise is getting into motivation-momentum... I don't find that when I start something on a Thursday or Friday! When I started running I would run one minute, walk on minute, run one minute... and I'm sure you know now how looooooooooooooooooooog a minute can be!!! :smile1:. Good job!!
