View MIDDLEROAD's food & exercise for this day
Saw the doctor last night and of course they weigh you every time! But Walla! I had lost about 2 1/2 lbs since my weigh in on Monday. Of course, that's using a different scale, but I was down 20lbs exactly since I saw the Dr in June. It was a nice feeling. My AC1 (diabetes test) was down to 6.5. It had been over 7. My 22's are fitting pretty well now and I am especially happy about that! I think I gained that 20 lbs over the last winter. So I am kind of back to a starting point of sorts, but I am not going to dwell on that. I am just moving on! My next goal is to reach my 10% by my birthday which is 2 days after Christmas. I only have to lose 9 lbs, to get there and I think that is very doable.
I haven't gotten to the gym since Monday because all of my appts with Dr. and Dentists, but I have been very very good with my eating. I also have been doing squats in the A.M.'s which it really only takes a few to get that old heart pumping and it's good for the core.
Work has been better this week and I am not so stressed. TG. I have tomorrow off, and am getting my hair cut and highlighted. I have a 40 yr class reunion on Sat. which I am very nervous about. I am worried about what to wear. And I am kind of embarrassed about my weight. I have never been to one in all these years. But I am hoping to just go, meet a few people, dance with my hubby and leave when I'm ready. Dick Biondi (local radio DJ) is going to be there, so I think that will be fun. Wish me luck.

Congrats on the loss this far! That is awesome!!! Good luck with the reunion! I didn't go to my first one because I was at my heighest weight. I want to at least be thinner then I was when I graduated for the next one!

Have fun at your reunion and kudos on the 20 pounds gone.
 I am in the midst of planning our 40th HS reunion for 2012. We had a quasi-reunion a few weeks ago and I was nervous about going because of my weight too. But, I had a great time and my weight didn't matter at all!!! Take care...
