Thanksgiving was so…so. Food was good, family behaved themselves. It was a lot of work though. Last week I started out eating well, and then lost it as Thanksgiving approached. I had family over and cooked everything. I did okay through the dinner but then later I ate too much dessert, too many nuts and too much alcohol. I did the gym on Friday but then ate out also. Sounds negative, but its not

My blog on Monday sounded kind of negative. Yes, I have a hard time with negative thinking, especially at work. Everything turned out just fine , but the walk I did during lunch really helped. I also did my workout at the gym that night and worked really hard. Last night I went for a walk with the dog and ran into a couple of women I know that walk every night. Quit smoking Week 2

Doing better than last week. Having trouble getting the eating under control but feeling pretty positive for the most part. Was having trouble with the nerves at work today, so went for a walk in a park nearby that I hadn't walked before and it turned out to be like a 2 mile walk with no shortcuts back! Quite smoking

Well, I quit smoking on Saturday. I went and had acupuncture, which really does it for me. I had quit 5 years ago and then took it up again this summer. I was suffering with a lot of asthma from it, so hopefully I will feel better now. Hopefully this nips it in the bud for another 5 years at least. It is just like trying to lose weight. You have to never give up trying.

I am not giving up on losing weight, but I have had a lot of problems sticking to it lately. Mostly from not feeling well...

Make it your self

I have been depending on my husband to make my lunches lately. He gives me wilted salads and brown lettuce and just plain old plain old chicken. I am sorry, but I need innovative lunches. I get really sick sick sick of the same old salad every day and old lettuce to boot. I appreciate what he does for me, but if he didn't, I would have to do it for myself.
