View MIDDLEROAD's food & exercise for this day
OMG. I am soooooo hungry. It would take an elephant to fill this gaping hole in my stomach. I ate all my calories yesterday, but was hungry all night and couldnt sleep. Had my breakfast this AM and it didnt make a dent. Exercised hard last night and did eat my exercise calories. Like I said yesterday, it is hard getting back on the horse.
I diaried for 3 days so far this week, so I am on a roll. The journaling really helps because even if I am not being good, it is sort of a reminder to at least try. However, when I am faltering, it is the hardest time to journal. It is a heck of a lot of work to track all those overeaten items. But, if I overeat and track it, then I can see that I wasnt as bad as I thought I was. If I was worse than I thought, then it kind of jolts me into slowing the overeating down a little. It is a much better alternative than just moping about my inability to diet and beating myself up over it. I am also so thankful for all my wonderful CK friends. They really help me get back on track. They are all so positive and encouraging.
I see that CK ups your level of exercise as you go along. I was doing quite well at first, but then when it started expecting more, I was a little surprised. I am trying to put in more time at the gym. The weather is too cold to do anything outside. I am finding that I like my exercise more and more. I still always have to drag myself there, but it feels so good when I am done and it gives me so much more energy that I look forward to the next time.

Maybe you need to change your diet up and eat more filling foods like proteins, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, etc? I have a couple new recipes that I will email you that look pretty good!

Well done you, especially getting to like exercise. When you are really hungry try eating just protein, takes longer to digest than other food, and also the body takes more energy to process it so its a win win, so an omlette in the middle of the night could be trick for you.
