View MIDDLEROAD's food & exercise for this day

Started my "Get Fit" challenge at the gym this week. My eating hasn't been good, though. The calories don't count when you hide in the bathroom and eat, do they?

Hmm.... I'm going to have to be real good because my trainer wants my food log. Uh Oh, I'm in trouble now. My motivation is nil. I say I want to do this, but everyday I find some reason to overeat. Been stressed because of the weather and bored at work. Both are big reasons for me to eat.

I think I lost like 4 lbs over the weekend and then gained them back during the week. I am trying to eat lighter dinners, but my hubby is so used to big dinners and wants to sit down and eat together every day. It is very difficult. Also, I have eaten big dinners all my life. Thats the way I was brought up and what I did as a mother. But now I understand that is not a good way to eat.
So, I want to just have a protein shake and a salad for dinner, but the hubby doesn't eat all day, so he needs something more. I eat all day and don't need dinner. Sounds like Jack Spratt and his wife. Anyway, I am going to try not to eat carbs at dinner. Just protein and vegetable.
