I promised myself to track my calories this weekend. Weekends are difficult for me, I lose my routine and totally let go of myself. Well, I did it. I tracked my weekend. Even though I was over, I feel good that I tried and good that I tracked.

This week is going to be busy. My trainer wants me to do 5 days a week at the gym. I think he wants me to mostly do cardio. I don't really understand the whole thing, but I am going to try that. I am also trying to eat my carbs during the day rather than at dinner. I usually eat dinner after the gym and it gets really late. Trainer wants me to not eat after gym. Maybe a protein shake and salad but not too much. I am working on that part.

Tried a new recipe on Sat. for oatmeal pancakes using left over oatmeal. They were extraordinary. Oatmeal is so filling and these pancakes were filling. I am trying to eat really filling foods.

So kudos for me for trying new things and not giving up.

Hello! Thank you so much for your support! I have a degree in exercise science (though clearly I've lost my way a bit) so if you ever have any questions about why your trainer wants you to try something, I would be glad to help explain it :)

That is great you documented over the weekend. I too made that a goal for myself this weekend. I was over too BUT I probably ate less than I would if I would not have documented.

You will do great at the gym.

Weekends are still my biggest issue too. I do my best workouts on the weekend and I do my worst food choices too... ARGH!
I hope you enjoy the trainer... I am still till chicken to get one :)
