Well, I got on the scale on Friday even though I am supposed to weight in on Monday. I was 6 lbs down from the weigh in for the fitness challenge 2 weeks ago. I feel pretty good about that. I have lost most of my holiday weight, just 2 lbs to go til I am back to my lowest in Nov. Wow, it is easy to see how those holidays can add up over the years. It is hard to get them off again, too. Ah well, I am feeling a little more hopeful about losing weight and can see myself being able to do this now. However, when you have a little success it can either spur you on, or make you feel like, "I did it" and then think you can eat anything. I was especially successful at going to the bar/grill and having a nice salad with grilled chicken breast instead of a hamburger and tater tots. I was also successful at avoiding the vending machines this week. In addition, I was pretty well prepared for lunches and snacks, although I petered out a little at the end of the week.

I really like my trainer. He is nice and he checks up on me and says hi to me in the gym. I like that. Now I have 3 friends, besides you guys. My therapist, my chiropractor and my trainer!
