View MIDDLEROAD's food & exercise for this day
Well, I'm here at the gym waiting my turn for the trainer. My time is 7 PM and it is by my work. Iget out at 5, so I have time to kill. Yes, I could exercise and I will, cause it's not even 6"30. I am going to walk on the treadmill, if there is one (it's so crowded here lately) and watch Wheel of Fortune.
I haven't had a great week. Binged some, underate some, ate the wrong foods.... but I exercised every day. I excercised Monday thru Friday, but by the time Thursday rolled around, I was extremely tired. I couldn't get my heart rate up the way I usually do. then I rested (at least from regular exercise) on the weekend but on Monday I still couldn't get my heart rate up. I was again very tired and my leg was hurting for some reason. I wasn't pushing it to much but after 20 minutes, I saidm, this is rediculous, I have to move it. So I ran and tried to bring up the heart rate, and I got it up some but not where I usually do. I am so confused about this exercise thing. Is it better to take it easy and do longer or better to push myself and get that heart rate up???? I just don't get it. I just don't.
Then there's the food. I worked hard on the weekend on buying and preparing proper foods, but I still didn't get enough in my work bag some days and ate junk. I missed some vegetables and ate too many carbs.
Work has been extremely stressful again and I have also been stressed out about my mother. She really needs to be in a nursing home, but my Dad won't do it. She is constantly falling and brusing her face and legs and things and it's just getting ridiculous.
My hubby, bless his soul, has not given me the kind of support I need. I need assurances and all he gives me is suggestions. Sound familiar????? Men.... can't live with them, can't live without them.
Oh well, time to go see the "farm boy" (trainer).
