This exercise every day is exhausting me. Last night my coworkers went out for happy hour. I had a martini and some appetizer pizza. It was nice, but I had to go to the gym afterward. That was hard!!!! And of course the exercise wears that nice little buzz off real fast!!!! So was it even worth it? Yes. I work in a sales department, so I have to be social occasionally!!!! I think the boss likes that, too.

So when I got to the gym last night, there was not one treadmill, or one elliptical available. So I went on this thing that is like cross country skiing and I knew before I got on that it was hard. I only lasted about 15 minutes, but I think that was a good change-up. Then there was an elliptical available, so I did another 40 minutes on that.

I still am having a hard time getting my heart rate up, but I'm just going with a slower pace because that is all I seem to be able to do. "Farm boy" and I talked about it and maybe I was just pushing myself too much when I was coming 2 or 3 days a week and I need to just take it easy. He said getting my heart rate into the 120's or 130's should be just fine. I thought I needed to get it up to 140's. He also said that if I am that exhausted, then I am pushing it too hard. He also said I should take my protein shake every single time after exercising to help my body recover. I only do 1 scoop in some skim milk. I swear it is like having a milkshake every day!

When I got home, hubby was waiting............ for dinner. Geez. I can't break him of his life long habit of waiting for me for dinner, or waiting for me to decide what's for dinner, or me making dinner. But I had a plan! I threw together the best dinner in no time.

On to a new day!

I now bring a shake or a bar for after workout or I go crazy by the time I get home, IM SOOO HUNGRY!!! Then I turn into a nasty person

I need to get into the habit of taking a protein shake with me so after I work out I can start the recovery quickly.
I tend to wait till I get home then I forget and on to something else and that's it.
