View MIDDLEROAD's food & exercise for this day
Well, I really blew it on Sunday. Did okay until the Oscars. I bought beer (light of course) but I had 4!!!!! My husband started me on the beer by bringing me one, and then another one. Then family came over and I put out peanuts and cashews and ate them myself. Those damn nuts. Why do I even buy them?? I know they are high calorie and that I cant control them. Those things really put me over.
I am so disappointed in myself because I worked so hard during the week and then I just blew it. I had worked all day on creating healthy meals for the week and I had healthy meals all day, but then later, OMG. !!!!!!!! OMG. It may not make a big difference in the big picture, but I know it will make a big difference in my weight this week. One bad day can blow the whole week for me and even give me a gain. My body is really good at gaining and hanging on to the fat and very bad at losing it. Do you think I can flush it out with a bunch of water? Probably not. The thing was, I didnt track on CK this weekend, even though I was mostly good. I think that would have kept me more focused.
Okay, enough catastrophic thinking. Its time to move on. It is one misstep on a long journey, right? I will not buy nuts again. I promise myself that. I dont want to beat myself up over food.

We can be good at self-sabotage, aren't we? :-) Now if we can be just as good at being kind to ourselves, we should come out ahead.

I hear ya, I LOVE nuts and cannot stay away if they are put out. I love pistashios and cashews and almonds

Well, nuts do have a healthier fat. I think you would be worse off if you sat eating chips etc... So drink that H2O today and see if you can flush some of the sodium out and no beating yourself up
