View MIDDLEROAD's food & exercise for this day

Down in St Louis for birth of grandaughter. hasn't come yet........ hopefully during this week that I planned and took off work. If not, I don't know. Darn, went over my calorie count on the way down here yesterday. ate snacks on the road. I Brought good food but it wasn't enough. You know whats the hardest? Is getting in healthy carbs. You can't just have protein and vegetables. i mean you can, but I find that I am not satisfied or filled without a little grain. Fruit is a great carb, but I find it's not enough. I know there's some diets that you don't eat any grains, but I have to have some....

Stopped at the grocery here today and picked up some healthy carbs to have on hand. Stone ground crackers, rice cakes and yougurt as well as some hard boiled eggs, in case I need a protein.

Daughters house is under construction, so there was no room to stay there. Got a Holiday Inn room nearby and that'll work nice because they have an exercise room. Brought my exercise ball with. Of course, I can always go for a walk, but I think having an exercise time and place helps me be more serious.

I promised my trainer that I would keep exercising and eat right. that is an incentive, but my recent weightloss is a great incentive for being good too...

You should try that Ezekiel bread I told you about. That's a healthy carb!
