I am so grateful for all the support i receive on CK. My daughter is making me journal this week and it is not a pretty sight to see how much I am eating. Sigh.

Got results from dr. It is arthritis in my neck that is causing the pain. I have prednesone and nocol for inflammation and pain. It's helping, some. I guess it will take time. One is a steroid that makes you gain weight and raise your blood sugar. Great!

At work, one of the other back-ups mother got suddenly seriously ill and it turns out she has a rare form of fast acting leukemia/lymphoma. Sad. She only has 2 weeks to live, but they are giving her chemo to see if it will give her longer. The VP I was reporting to got let go. Now we have a new one. It's like a revolving door around here.

I've got next week off. Hope I'll get some needed rest. Going to see the new grandaughter. Here's another pic of her.
