Good Weekend

Wow! Had a great weekend without too much food and drink! LOL. Went to a comedy fest Friday night after the gym. Had a great workout Fri. I've been pushing it on the elliptical and am actually running pretty well on that. I was able to run for about 2 minutes at a level of 6. It doesn't seem to translate to the treadmill, or running outside, but that's okay. I am moving well. Took the dog for a walk/run on Sat. My dog is a lab and she likes to trot from spot to spot, so I ran when she ran and ...

Missing in Action

I've been missing in action most of last week. I was subbing for a rep at work and very very busy. I haven't had time to do CK from work and then have been so busy at night and too tired to do it! Had today off and it was glorious!!!! Got up and went to the gym first thing and it felt wonderful. I really felt like I was doing something special for myself. Made me feel good for the whole day!

Vacation

Had a great time in WI. Biked 2 days in a row for a total of 21 miles. Unfortunately the food there is not healthy and didn't do well. Lots of beer! All Swiss food. I did well at 1 restaurant only where I had a healthy salad and boiled shrimp. The rest of the weekend, oh boy!!!! My hubby did not help by encouraging beer drinking. And of course WI is known for it's cheese.

Going to have to work extra hard this week. Gotta get back on the wagon.

No motivation

I have absolutely no motivation this week. I am eating and eating. I am going to eat back all that I lost if I don't watch out. Where has my motivation gone?

There is more ongoing drama at work. One of the salespeople walked in and quit this morning. That is 4 gone this week alone! Geez. I am off a couple of days and then I am backing up someone next week when I get back. She just got an extra territory from one of the people laid off so that is going to be crazy!

I was up a pound last night. :( Thursday we are leaving for a little vacation in WI for the weekend. That is going to be hard to control, but maybe it will be relaxing and I won't feel the need to stuff my face. We are bringing our bikes and going on the bike trail. So at least I'll have some exercise. My exercise gets pushed to the side a lot when I have Dr appts and family activities.
