Yesterday started out great. I had my weekly "support meeting" with my friend. That was great! And we figured out how we could video conference, so it was almost like we were really in the same room. (She lives on the west coast...I'm in Michigan. We're rarely in the same room.)

From there, it kind of went downhill. I couldn't focus on the work I was supposed to be doing. My food was WAY off schedule because I was home and because I got up later than I do when I'm working. I mean... breakfast at 11, lunch at 2.

One good thing that did happen was that I took my dog for a walk. The temp was in the 30s, but the sun was shining bright without a cloud in the sky. We walked for a couple of miles, and I wasn't even exhausted after. (Altho my dog was. She konked out, and didn't get up again until nearly 11:30!)

Here was the really hard part. I kind of binged yesterday. Okay, that wasn't the hard part, obviously. The hard part was being honest with myself, and honest with the people who read this and my diary, to actually write down exactly what I ate. I mean, if I didn't put it in there, you'd never know, right? But I would. And when I started asking questions about why I wasn't losing weight, you'd be able to look at my food and say, "Well, your food looks good. I'm not sure why either!." But I would know.

So...my food, all of my food, is recorded for yesterday. Today is a new day. Today can be better. Today will be better.

Once I log off here I need to go in search of menu items for the week. I didn't do too badly last week, but toward the end, the cupboards were a little dry, so to speak. I can figure out something to make today for the early part of the week, and then maybe a crockpot item for Wednesday or Thursday. I love that feeling of walking in the house and dinner is already prepared!!
