Morning. It's Saturday - the first Saturday of tax season. Luckily, I have the first one off. In fact, I typically have many of the first ones off. That just means I'm mad busy by the time April comes around. My food should be really interesting then.

I've been changing a lot lately. I'm standing up for myself more. I'm listening to myself rather than letting everyone else tell me what's good and what's not. I'm even kind of doing this "minimalist" thing. I'm clearing the crap out of my house and out of my life. It feels really good. The most recent change has been my new 'do. It's not drastically different, just different. And I think I really like it.

My food for the week wasn't great. I have that addiction (and maybe that's too strong of a word to use) to cookie dough. Three times over the past week I've made a batch. Part of the issue might be the whole female part of life. The reason I say that is because the week before was MUCH easier to get through the evening without having to eat.

Of course, I also have this other problem. When I have nothing to do (I freelance as a graphic designer), I long for something to do. And when I have projects that I need to work on, I just can't seem to get the motivation to get anything started OR finished. And since that motivation isn't there, I eat to compensate. Maybe it's one of my "ah-ha" moments. Needless to say, I have a VERY huge project due next Saturday, and my motivation is lacking.

I'm off to weigh in. I know I've gained back since last week, but again, I think that has to do with the whole female thing. At least, I hope to someone that's what it has to do with.
