I had a quiet day today. It was nice to not have to run around, and just be able to get some things done.

I'm finding that CK can have quite an interesting effect. I went a little hog-wild with the applesauce I made. It was really tasty...so I ate the entire batch. Now, I made it. It was apples, cinnamon and a bit of sugar. Could be a lot worse, right? The problem? After I finished off the bowl, I had 545 calories I had to put down. For the record, I went over by 196 calories today. If I had just held to what I started with, it would have been just perfect.

Kind of ditto to dinner. I bought a WW cookbook (which I love, by the way), and it has a great recipe for meatloaf made with ground turkey. It was really tasty! Which...is why I ate two servings of it. And at a whopping 286 calories per serving, it again put me over.

So I think I can honestly say that my goal of moderation (but first learning the definition of it) hasn't been fulfilled. At all.

The worse part is that I can't have a smoothy tonight. Not without going WAY over my goal, which I already did. So had I put down the spoon for the applesauce and put the rest of the meatloaf away, I would have been able to have my smoothie tonight, and I would have been under my goal.

Hmm... I guess this is a good thing to remember the next time the spoon is in my hand.
