View MIPACKERFAN's food & exercise for this day

I've fallen off the horse, cart, wagon...whatever you want to call it.

I was sitting at lunch yesterday, and started writing:

I am sitting, having lunch. I already went and get my hair done - cut and highlights - and I went shopping. I'm feeling sassy. My hair looks really good, if I do say so myself. And I was buying shirts that are a size smaller.

A woman just walked in - not a size 2, but not my size either. And she LOOKS sassy. Shirt that's a bit low cut, dangly earrings, heels with her jeans, hair pulled back by a pair of trendy sunglasses. I want to be her - looking sassy.

I look at my fingernails, and the most I can say is that at least I don't bite them anymore - well, most of the time. The shirt I have on I bought YEARS ago (Eddie Bauer is awesome). I even have proof. The picture was taken with my ex-fiance in '96. Hmm....maybe it was '97.

When I feel sassy like this, I want to shop, continue to make myself feel better. The sun is shining, and the snow we got last night is melting. I've never dreamed of being fashionable. But somewhere on the same planet would be nice. If only I could be a size ...

My whole body is a "problem area." My arms, however, are quite troublesome. Talk about wiggle room! Now I want to go buy workout videos to do in my living room. Work on my arms, thighs, butt, stomach - oh, this list could go on and on.

I'll make a deal with myself. If I can do the TaeBo video for two weeks, I can get a new video. The weight goal is SHOT. I have to get back on track.

I know what you mean about Eddie Bauer -- Orvis stuff lasts forever also! Your weight goal is not "shot" -- it has just been "on hold." It sounds like you have a great plan to start with the exercise videos. You can do this!! :smile1:

Hi Susie! :hi: I think it is a great idea to buy a new outfit (or pants or whatever) when you go down a size. I know what you mean about looking at other women...I almost ogle them more than I do men! :blush4: I don't know about you, but I think one thing that will help me start feeling more "sassy" and positive is the upcoming warm weather. It will make me want to go outside and walk, or shop for spring clothes, or something else uplifting. Anyway, I know it can be done: my brother-in-law lost 100lbs and so can you!:thumbu2:

I am getting back on the horse too as well. I am trying things a bit different this time.We can try and start over as many times as we feel like it or need to,as long as we never quit trying.
