Morning. It's Saturday - the first Saturday of tax season. Luckily, I have the first one off. In fact, I typically have many of the first ones off. That just means I'm mad busy by the time April comes around. My food should be really interesting then.Wednesday, January 16th 2008
Yesterday was not my most impressive day. I had a dinner meeting at a place called Olga's. I would tend to think they wouldn't be too bad in way of calories - if you watch what you eat. But I kind of let myself get into this mind set of, "Eat what you want. You'll go over. Start again tomorrow." Except I went nearly 1,000 calories over. And if you've read any previous blogs, you know on my good days, I have a really hard time hitting my caloric goal.Monday, January 14th 2008
One thing that just gets the better of me is cookie dough. I purposefully don't have the "crap" food in my house. But the one thing that's always here is the stuff to make cookie dough. So, last night and tonight, the cookie dough has gotten the better of me.Saturday, January 12th 2008
Hindsight is 20/20. The pizza idea was bad. I didn't eat the whole thing, but out of eight pieces, there were only three left. I just couldn't stop. Did you ever see that episode of "Sex in the City" where Miranda is obsessing over the cake and to make herself stop, she pours dish soap over it in the garbage? I should have just taken my two slices of pie and thrown the rest away with dish soap on top. On the upside, I was able to stay within my calorie limits for the day.
