today be an off day. Arrrr. No exercise today. Although, I feel guilty doing so, but it'll be a good break.
I went to the grocery store and bought stuff for food this week.
The mustard that I thought was recent in my fridge expired in May. So i dug around and found some other in my fridge. It expired last november.
I guess I need to clean out my fridge. At least it'll be dill-scented. I bought stuff to make tziki sauce. But, I forgot 1 ingredient for the coleslaw i was going to make, and now I need mustard for that, too.
Here's a recipe for coleslaw that's different than the rest:
Dressing:
1 1/2 t prepared mustard
1/4 c sugar - or the blue packets (Equal?) of substitute sweetener - 12 packs =12 t. We have tried a new sweetener - in pink packets and you need about 1/2 of the packets but it tastes bitter to me still.
1 T oil
1/4 t salt
2 T cider vinegar
1/2 t celery seed
You cannot save this from one day to the next once you put it one the cabbage. It gets weird. The dressing by itself is supposed to keep 2 weeks.
It's really good with dried cranberries on it, as well.

I hate rest days, too ... but I'm learning that they really are important.
