Urgh, wtf. My HRM says I only burned 189 calories this morning in my ~2 mile walk?! Even though my mile was slow, I think I was setting a good pace. Originally, my walk-to-work goal time was 36 minutes, today was around 31. Keep in mind that's usually 3-4 stops of 30-45 seconds for traffic and whatnot.

I did a run/walk tonight. An abridged version of the c25k stuff. Doing 1 minute running, 5 walking. I think 5 min walking was a bit too much, so going to bump the running to 1.15 and the walking down to 4, and have a goal of not letting my heart rate go below 140.

Update: Uh, i guess i was already doing 1.20/5, so i guess i'll go to 1.30/4

Partially my issue with tracking tonight was due to the fact that I hadn't done this with my watch before - it was the same the first time I used the watch. Next time I'll have a better idea of what I'm doing and will do better overall.

Think I'm going to try to do the run/walk thing again Thursday evening. But, Wednesday is a 14 mile day, so I'm not sure what kind of shape I'll be in.
