Ugh, last night wasn't a lot of fun. My cat had some 'issues' last night that I had to deal with. That I didn't probably do in the best manner. But, at least it's over now.

My cat is still pretty mad at me.

I did p90 weights last night with additional weights. Now I'm wondering if moving up was the best thing or not. But, at this point, I think i'm going to stick with it. There's a few of the lifts I need to work on because I don't think I'm doing them quite right. Basically, the lifts are standing up, bending over, one's doing a motion like pulling up your pants, with your elbows at your side, the next set is with your elbows out about 45 degrees from your body, and the last set are at 90 degrees from your body. Having issues with the first two - I think I do them both about the same way.

Tonight for cardio, I think I'm going to do the tae bo cardio video I have for something different.

I also have to clean my apartment to get ready for my parents coming tomorrow night. It's not that bad, but just a lot of picking up that needs to happen.

I also need to work to add more protein to my diet. I talked to my friend who did the p90 program and he says that he drinks a protein drink the morning. I think I'm going to look into doing that to boost my protein intake a bit , which will help I hope.

a decade ago

Back when I was working out regularly and doing strength training, I made a protein smoothie after every workout. Of course, that's so long ago I'm surprised I even remember it... :$
