Sitting here in Jury Duty today. So much fun. No, Really.
The lady said there's only 1 judge doing cases that she was aware of this morning, but didn't know about this afternoon. They've called 2 sets of jurors so far, and there's probably still 200 people in the room.
Did cardio last night. Not the best workout ever, but better than nothing. Getting to be sore all over again - i feel more like I'm doing something when I'm sore all over.
Tonight, I'm going to start the first night of the c25k program - run/walk around the park. I think, anyways. Hopefully they'll let us go somewhat early, but who knows. Last time I did this, we were done by 3.
At least this jury duty lasts for 8 years - the last one only for 4, although, I don't remember exactly when I did it nor do I have the paperwork, but it's probably right at 4 years.

think it depends on the court - the other court i went to was only good for 4 years. this one , the lady said 8 years. this is criminal court, i think the other one was just for like people suing other people, so maybe that's why. but, this counts across all the different courts, except for maybe federal court.

I've been lucky and have been able to get out of jury duty the last couple of times they called me for it, so I actually have never done jury duty (knock on wood). Does it only last for 8 years if you actually get picked, or does it count for 8 years just for showing up?
