I appear to have posterior shin splints from running. cool running has some wall stretches to help stretch that a bit to help with that. not the best thing ever, but seems to be manageable. Hopefully a good night's sleep tonight, and doing the stretches will make them not hurt so I can run tomorrow night. Or at least on Thursday evening.
Stayed up too late, couldn't fall asleep, so I started reading again, and got into the book and kept going. Not really that surprising, just kind of annoying.
Weights tonight, and SLEEEEP.
Oh, and, btw, we have a new president. I gotta say, though, I'm a bit disappointed. He's been president for 3 hours now, and I'm not pooping rainbows yet! More seriously, though - there's a lot of problems in the US that need to be solved, and I think Obama will be one of the better presidents the US has had. No more 'us' vs 'them' will be a nice change - the 'for us' or 'against us' mantra of the past 8 years has affected us in more ways that we probably realize. One man can only do so much. We can accomplish much.

I had shin splints years ago when I used to run. I got orthodics and that clearned them up. I tired "Walk Fit" from the web about $30/pair and I think they are absolutely wonderful. www.walkfitamerica.com (I think) if interested.

Ugh, I gave up running because of shin splints. But I'm a wimp. I'm looking forward to the new administration too, hopefully he can make positive changes
