Wednesday, Jan 21 2009 - Cleary the clock reads 'I'm hungry NOW, feed me'
View MORTINI's food & exercise for this day
I ended up not doing weights last night. I went to bed early. Quite early. I was asleep by 8 last night, actually. I only woke up a few times, too, so it was a lot of rest for me. My cat decided that she was STARVING at 4 AM this morning, and so I ended up giving her a can of food then. I think she just waits until she hears me start to move as I come out of REM sleep and then comes up to see me, hoping to get pets or whatever. She always has dry food available - there's a dish full of it - so she's never really *that* hungry - she just really prefers the canned food.
Yesterday, after posting about my shin splint issue, arubablue commented that she used orthodics in her shoes to help. Then I remembered the cool running post I was reading with the wall stretches said that the type of splints I had were due to my flat feet. I remember my mother telling me that my grandfather was worried about getting into the military because of his flat feet. So, to make his feet have an arch, he'd spend hours standing on coke bottles. This morning I went to a drugstore and bought some orthodics, which may or may not help - my shins still hurt from the previous injury, so there's no way to tell if they did anything for me just yet.

Good luck with the orthodics, I hope they help
:thumbu2: Don't try to figure out the cat. They're worse than women, particularly when it's a female cat
