Have a cold. Again. Missed Monday & Tuesday from work because of it.
Was looking at p90x stuff yesterday afternoon. My p90 keeps dragging on as I keep getting sick, trying to do 12 weeks of doing p90 4+ days. I'm that when I'm done with my cooking class (in 4 weeks) starting with p90x. There's a fitness test with p90x, and I'm good on most of the stuff I know for sure, but not all of it.
I need to get some more weights for my dumbbells and a few resistance bands for p90x specifically. And figure out a way to suspend the bands from the ceiling. I just need to find a floor joist in the ceiling to put a hook into, and should be good to go on that.
The p90x program also includes a 3-phase diet. The first phase is a low-carb diet ala Atkins or the south beach phase 1. While I have issues with a low carb diet in general, I'm considering following it for the phase 1 portion as it's only 4 weeks. I'm not as concerned about keeping the weight off after the loss, so maybe doing it quickly wouldn't be the worst thing ever.
But, right now, I just want to be over this stupid cold! *shakes fist*

My colds always go away if I shake my fist 3 times while shouting "Begone you evil cold!" Have you been drinking Grape juice? It helps.
:) Surprisingly, even better than the fist/shouting method.
