View MORTINI's food & exercise for this day
I was having this crazy dream this morning and I was woken up by my cat kneading my arm. In my dream, my parents & i were staying at this cabin somewhere, and the cabin was getting attacked/infiltrated by these zombie-like beings. They weren't zombies, but, that's what they looked like. We called the fed's to come and look at the zombie infestation, and they were apparently behind the whole thing. But, they just left. We were trying to escape, and I'd made my way to the airport to fly away, but the feds were there waiting for me. And then...*knead*knead*knead*
I tend to have pretty crazy dreams. For awhile, I was considering writing them down, because some of them would make great short stories. Many of them are just really strange.
I did c25k week 4 day 3 this morning. My brain & body really weren't co-operating. The run mostly consisted of:
brain: 'FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF THIS!'
me: 'just 30 seconds more! i can do this!'
brain: 'FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF THIS'
me: 'just 30 seconds more! i can do this!'
I ate breakfast about 6:30 this morning, and left for the run around 7:15. That's eating breakfast about 2 hours earlier than i normally do - i'm already hungry. Kind of throws my day off, since I'm not used to it.
I'm considering running a marathon, probably the Philadelphia marathon. But, that's kind of putting the cart in front of the horse at this point. I'd like to be able to do 2 loops in the park before I decide - that's 7 miles. But, right now, I'm about to start the p90x program which'll be pretty intense for 12 weeks, so that puts me in may/june to decide. I'm going to try to do c25k & p90x at the same time and see what happens. If it's totally killing me, I'll drop the c25k. I've just been slowly chugging away at c25k, though, I'm on week 4, 8 weeks into the year (I started the first full week of Jan).
I'm also interested in getting to the point that I can rollerblade to work. Granted, while I have a pair of rollerblades, I can't really use them right now. Once it gets warmer, I'm going to work on that, though. It's about 12 miles to work, and I'm hoping I could do it in about 2 hours, which basically would mean that I'd be leaving about 15 minutes earlier than I do right now to get to work at the same time. I just don't know what my speed would need to be and so on. That'll have to wait until I get here.
Too many goals at the same time, probably, so, just going to see. I'd just be happy to be able to do the 7 miles - i've never cared that much for running in the first place. And then work on the rollerblading - the rollerblading is something that *would* be useful to me.

Now see, I have crazy dreams like that...and I've often thought about writing short stories from some of them, because some of them are recurring dreams...really scary!! LOL

That is a lot of goals, but that's not a bad thing either. As you work towards them you'll naturally come to see which are ones that you enjoy enough to pursue, and which really aren't important enough to you.
:thumbu2: That is a crazy dream
:o Did you cheat on your taxes?
