Have a cold. Again. Missed Monday & Tuesday from work because of it.

Was looking at p90x stuff yesterday afternoon. My p90 keeps dragging on as I keep getting sick, trying to do 12 weeks of doing p90 4+ days. I'm that when I'm done with my cooking class (in 4 weeks) starting with p90x. There's a fitness test with p90x, and I'm good on most of the stuff I know for sure, but not all of it.

I need to get some more weights for my dumbbells and a few resistance bands for p90x specifical...

Another cold?!

Dangit, I feel worse today - i thought yesterday just feeling crappy was due to the dried out sinuses. I guess I caught something. I took a nap this afternoon and feel better after that.

I'm making some various flavored oils. I have an Ancho oil going & a red pepper oil going. The Ancho oil just needs to cool at this point and then be strained, but the red pepper oil has about 30 more minutes to go. I also have an orange vinegar going in my fridge.

Had my first cooking class today. I wasn't sure what to do about food - they say that lunch is a part of the course, but I didn't know what that meant. So, I took a few power bars and went to class. It took *forever* to get there on the subway this morning - I should have been super early - what normally takes 15-20 minutes took over an hour. It was nuts.

But, the class went well. The instructor is an actual chef who has a restaurant. He clearly has a passion for food - which is always hel...

I slept last night, and it was goooooood. I decided to make it an off night as my body was pretty tired and i didn't sleep much on Wednesday night. My shin splints don't hurt that much today - just an occasional amount of pain, so I think I'm going to do c25k tonight or tomorrow.

I have my cooking class starting tomorrow. Kind of nervous about it, but It'll be okay. I just need to remember to take some band-aid's because I have an amazing ability to cut my hands.

so, last night, i did a pseudo c25k night and p90 weights. i just wanted to see where i was at with running and see if i'd have shin splint issues with c25k. The session went really well, actually, my speed was really good. Although, started having shin splint pain towards the end, and today they hurt a bit. I've been working on doing the exercises for them that seem to help, and I'm going to make tonight an off night, so hopefully tomorrow I don't have pain. Going to try to do c25k tomorrow nig...
