View MORTINI's food & exercise for this day
Working on my menu for tomorrow night, here's what I have thus far:

I'm pretty sure that was all I was going to make but a few things may come back to me. I'm going to make the kalamata bread tonight, and make 2 loaves to try one out tonight. If it's really terrible, then, well, I'll cope. But, the comments for the recipe say it's pretty tasty, just not 'pretty' - whatever that means.
I went rollerblading for awhile after work last night. There's the main loop in the park where I usually run, and there's a road that goes between the two that's not really used much. I bladed there. I bought my blades ~5 years ago, but never really used them. I was terribly out of shape last time I tried them and didn't do so well, plus I was learning on a street with cars and stuff. Last night, I had no problems, and bladed for about 45 minutes. It's nice being in reasonable shape so stuff like this doesn't kill me. I'm a bit sore today, I think the lower back soreness is from the blading, but the soreness in my legs could be from running or blading or a bit of both.
My dad works for the forestry service and is doing something today in the city. If it was just him & this other guy, he was going to give me a ride back. Apparently, though, I can't ride in gov't vehicles, so he was just going to take his own for this trip. Apparently, though, the director's wife is going because she's a 'volunteer', and can apparently ride in the vehicles. I told my dad my mom should become a 'volunteer', so she can ride in vehicles too. A lot of times they just take a 15-person van, so there's probably room.
I watched some more of the p90x videos yesterday. I don't watch the whole thing, just watch bits here & there to get a good idea about what's going on. the shoulder & back video looks nuts - lots of pullups and pushups, but i'm kind of excited about the Yoga video. Like most of the stuff in the videos, it's different than 'normal' Yoga, but it looks good. There's a kempo karate video that I was watching about that was kind of annoying - it takes some kempo moves and makes them more cardio-like. I suspect people's complaints about the Yoga video are similar - they're not quite the way they should 'really' be.

Good call on the rollerblading. I haven't done that in a few years and I'd even forgotten how much I enjoyed it. Guess I'll break my blades out too!!
:hi:
I liked the kempo - but doing the same routine every week got old fast. I loved the yoga, but 1.5 hours is just too long. I'll be starting the 90 days on Monday, no quitting for me this time; but I think I'll mix up the kempo with other videos for variety and split the yoga into 2 different sessions. See you on the P90x forum
