View MORTINI's food & exercise for this day
Thanks for the kind words about the weight loss, everyone. I put up a before pic from about a year before I started loosing weight. This weekend, I plan on getting an 'after' pic.
Did plyometrics tonight. I really enjoy the workout. It's just a bunch of jumping exercises. While doing the P90 workouts, I'd developed a bunch of habits to make the workouts more difficult - doing lifts slowly, and for cardio, always making sure my heart rate was above 130. I've kind of lost that with p90x - just working on learning the stuff, but tonight I did a good job of keeping my heart rate up. Last night was a pretty bad workout overall - I was super tired from not enough sleep 2 nights in a row - so it was a challenge just to finish the workout. Tomorrow night for arms & shoulders, I'm going to try to do the lifts slow & heavy and work on doing 'set to fail' style instead of keeping up with the guys on the video. When I did this with P90, I noticed the best results.
I hope i have a good run tomorrow morning. My thighs are still sore from my workout on saturday evening and running on sunday (One of the three, anyways).
