the day after

Monday, January 5th 2009

I think today's technically the first day of the new year. Or something.

I remembered this morning that I have Jury Duty starting tomorrow. I was in denial and failed to tell my boss until this morning.

I did a prep c25k run on Saturday, doing week 1 day 1 just to see how I'd do. I didn't do too bad - especially considering my cold. Running makes my legs hurt in unusual ways. Yesterday, I just walked around the park one time.

For some reason, I thought I'd look for cooking classes in NYC before, but apparently I hadn't. I found this artisanal cheese site that had some cheese-based classes, and decided to look some more. I found a few, the first one I found was out on long island. I checked Chow Hound, and found one in Manhattan that looks interesting (http://www.iceculinary.com/). That place has a pro chef program and whatnot, so that seems to be more appealing to me than the other places I've looked. I'm considerin...
