View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
Today I actually did it.It's hard to stay on coarse when you're a little hungry, brain hungry that is. My body is willing, but my brain is not. I did enjoy cooking tonight. It's been a while since I have. My husband has done all the cooking since my back and shoulders went out on me five years ago. Tonight I made a low fat blacken Tilapia, noodles, and low fat green beans, with fresh fruit for desert.(In case anyone wants to know I made my own blackening seasoning out of Penzey's Northwoods seasoning, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and chipolte chile powder. You can get the penzey season on their web site.)I'm going to grill the fish next time in order to cut out more oil next time. I saved my fat servings for dinner and used olive oil minutely. There is bound to be a way to blacken using a non stick skillet next time to cut the fat down if I go that way too. Well these are my ramblings. I do like to cook when I am able. Learning to take a regular meal and make it into a low fat meal is a challenge.
I've been cleared by the doc to go back to the pool an exercise now. Hope to make it sometime this week. My back is getting sore hanging around the house. Tomorrow, though, my daughter and I are going to look at wedding dresses. I wonder how much these cost!!

WTG Lory!!!! You did an awesome job making dinner,it sounded fantastic!!!!I am glad to hear that you are able to swim again. I was in a bad car accident while riding my bicycle to the beach. A car hit me at 35 miles an hour and shattered my scapula and some other nasty things. I had a long recoop but swimming helped me the most,it helped me get the use of my arm back. Have a greaT DAY!
