Wednesday, Jan 16 2008 - THE BIG "C"
View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
I hate to even talk about this in my blog for fear somebody will think I'm being crude, but this topic has a lot to do with when I weigh myself. You see I have an eternal problem with constipation. Yes that big "C" word.
I've told it's all due to the kind of medications I take and not my diet which has improved greatly. I used to be on medication foe this problem, but gladly have been taken off of it. Now I drink plenty of water and use occasionally gylcolax. This isn't my point. My point is when I weigh myself I sometime weigh heavy due to this problem and show I've gained weight when I have not. Then I can show I've lost more weight than I actually have if I have had to use the medication that week. It's out right frustrating. This week is a perfect example.OK, I discussed the ugly "C' word. I guess I am still too anxious about loosing weight weight and something like this really bothers me.
Got with my medtronics rep yesterday, hopefully she will get to me soon so I can get my numbers worked out. She's going to give me a separate pattern for dieting. I have an appointment with the endo latter on this month too.
Tonights dinner is low fat turkey sausage because hubby asked for it.
Good news, I have been able to stay on my diet so far as of this moment

even with two low blood sugars so far today. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it through my planned out meal plan. I've decided not to plug in my exercise since I don't know how many calories I actually burn doing them. I not sure how to look it up either. Help here would be appreciated if anyone reads my blog.

I also suffer from the "c" word. I've tried a lot of things - medicine, fiber, diet, exercise - and most things never work for me. THe only thing that makes a difference for me is exercise. Even a little bit helps. I'm not saying that it completely relieves the problem, but it helps.

Hi Moughi, (Question - is that name from DS9, by chance - if so, I think it's terrific! - I think it's terrific anyway..) ANYWAY... to log your exercise it would be helpful to know what kind. If you're walking, just type in "walking" and a whole bunch of speeds will pop up - once they do - select an appropriate speed (I walk pretty slowly and I use 3.5 mph) - and just guess. If you're doing something else, maybe put what you're doing in your blog and readers can evaluate it for you. Of course, it differs from person to person.
Thanks by the way, for commenting on my blog. It's really neat to see that people read what everyone else is thinking.
Good luck to you!
