View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day

Physical therapy was a bear today, but it felt good. Good to finally use muscles that haven't been used in a long time. In fact I wondered were they had been hiding all these years.I'm sore right now but a good kind of sore, and not in pain. This achievement is like taking little steps to someone like me who needed a scooter to get around a shopping mall.(still do at this point)All this is exciting because if I can exercise, I will be able to loose weight better. That is the plan I hope and hope is what I cling to now days concerning dieting. Hope that this will work. I have to have confidence that this will work. This is why I find every word from those of you who have lost so meaningful. It gives me hope and confidence to keep on keeping on. So, thank you all for the encouragement. More latter...

Hey Lory - I'm glad that you are doing beter, too! I hope that you can feel good about the 'little steps' - those are the key to success! I get more sucess through a thousand little steps than two or three leaps and bounds. :) In response to your question on my blog, I always do turn down my pump and wait half an hour before going to the gym. I used to turn it down to 30% basal rate - but I'm getting low while working out lately. So what I'm going to try the next two or three times is just totally suspending the pump for half an hour before I go, and restarting it when I finish. I'll let you know! So far, I don't eat anything before I work out - but I will probably have to if the turn-the-pump-off thing still leaves me too low. Best of luck!
