Today was the first time I ever got up early and went to the gym. I just had to see if I could get back on the treadmill without hurting. Actually walked for 20 min. at 1.5 speed and felt like I could have kept going if it wasn't for the fact that all week I have been having trouble with my blood sugar levels being low. I've been trying to figure out what to eat before or during a workout to keep from having lows and not build up to many calories. I ended up taking in too many calories today because my sugars dropped and the machines said I didn't use enough cal to make up the difference. Oh phooh! I had to change my dinner plans to accommodate the difference.
This week I'll probably only show a pound loss, but I'm grateful I didn't gain with all the cals I had to take in due to all my lows. There were a lot of good things that I accomplished this week and I want to thank my CK blob friends for them. Talking to everyone has been an encouragement especially during this week when it would have been easy to give up. Also, by reading about your successes and your failures I have gained strength. Yes, even in what you all think are your weakness you have encouraged me by showing me my own short comings and how I to can over come them and I have learned I am not the only one who struggles with issues of weight control. I have found talking to you all gives me encouragement to stay with the program even though I have a scale that is quite quacky and unpredictable. So, keep coming to my blog, I need your imput and your friendship. Thanks. Lory
