I never have given it much thought until now the difference between spending time in the forums vs. the forums until I learned that Ck only gives you points for posting in the forums. It seems such a shame that blogging gets you no points. Maybe Ck wants to encourage more inter action amongst its members so they will get more involved.I get that, but I'll still be blogging as it is my favorite. It seems more personable. When the Lord created vegetables He knew what He was doing, but try telling that to the three year old who you just put broccoli in front of or telling that to someone who has been told to increase their vegetable intake three fold for their health. How I got Started

I was asked how I got started in my weight loss journey. I must tell you it took me years to actually start my diet, five to be exact. I would start, give up, and try again, then give up all because my heart and soul was not into it. I knew I need to to lose the weight and I wanted to, but just didn't have the will to. Recipe day

Black bean burger recipe as promised.
1 ( 15 oz ) can of black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs or cooked rice
1/4 tea ground cumin
1/2 tea ground oregano
1/4 cup minced red onion
1 - 2 olive oil
if you want the South western burgers add the following:

Breaking the soda habit

Water, Water, water that's all my mother kept saying to me. Lory stop drinking sodas and drink more water. Well, I have decreased the amount of diet drinks I used to drink by at least 90% thanks to sensitivity problems to equal. Can't eat or drink any products with equal in them in large quantities without getting big headaches, so I don't. I did find some no preservatives, no sodium,no caffeine splenda sodas ( diet Hansen's ) that taste pretty good and come in a lot of flavors. They don't giv...
