View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
Friday started out to be a promising day until I got a call from the vet. I had taken my elderly dog in for his teeth cleaning and to have some spots checked on that were a little suspicious. He had mast cell tumor and skin cancer before so I was concerned that these bumps could be the beginning of something I didn't want to think about. Well, the call came from the vet, probably not mast cells, but we will have to send in the the biopsy to really know what we are dealing with. We got two bumps taken off and I thought that was all until I got home and discovered a very small one that we had missed. The ones that were taken off were the size of a pencil eraser. The one I found is the size of a drop. Still, these things grow quickly. Grrr. Well, I got the dog home and he does not like the collar that the vet put on him to keep him from scratching at the stitches. He has been trying to get out of this collar 24/7 and I have had to watch him 24/7! We also have had to try and keep him calm, this has not been any easy task since he thinks that I am punishing him with this contraption. The other dog in the mean time is jealous of all this attention I am giving the other one and is jumping up and down on me begging for attention. Finally, hubby, sat down and took the younger dog and went to the living room with her to watch a movie. There, I finally got the older dog to rest, and the younger dog the attention it wanted. Does this sound like there are kids in the house? Hey, if I wasn't so worried about the older dog I would be laughing right now at their antics. This is something my kids would have pulled. I tried to put pictures up of the two little doggies, but for some reason the pictures would not come up on my sight. I have heard of other people having this problem too. I e-mailed myself my photos then took them and tried to put the photos on the before and after spots, but they would not come up. Anyone want to tell me what I did wrong?
Husband wasn't feeling good either to top things off too. He has a bum ankle that has been giving him pain all week. So you might say this week end has gone to the dogs. Pardon the pun. Well, I did blow my diet last night because I was too tired to cook and didn't care about staying on the plan. I will never do that to my body again. It actually hurt to stuff more food down me than I was suppose to. I don't care how I felt. I'll have to learn sooner or later not to let things like this get to me, but yesterday I flunked. Today, I did ok even though I feel like ****. I had great urges to snack all day, but didn't and settled for hot tea. Gotta go take care of sick old dog, hurting hubby, and little jealous rat terrier.

Nah, you didn't flunk, you just cheated a little!
:D We all cope in different ways at different times, don't be too hard on yourself. Hope your dogs test results come out good.
