Saturday, Mar 15 2008 - good news about dog
View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
There was much rejoicing in my household today as the vet gave us the word that our dog does not have cancer. He has a nasty infection of some kind in his skin of unknown origins at this point, but it is not the BIG C. Yes, there are these ugly bumps on him that look and make him feel bad, but they are not cancer. We will try different antibiotics and if we have to do a long term biopsy to see what kind of infection this is. I will have my Gamby around for a little longer. Thank you Lord for your Grace and kindness for allowing me to have this pet for a little longer. I will take care of him and treat him with love. As I rejoice In The Lord's goodness towards me today I am reminded that Easter is around the conner. It is Easter that made this all possible. You see to me, my real strength to stay on my diet has come from my faith in Christ. My total trust in Him. I totally trust that He will take care of my body as I make this journey. I'm not worried about plateaus, or not being able to lose those last twenty pounds, I know when I get to those obstacles, He will be there with me and help me through them. I won't be afraid of them. I know face trials everyday on this journey, but He promised me He would never leave me nor forsake me so I know I am never alone. He has given me friends too, to make this journey with. What a gift that is. I call that strength in numbers. He has promised me that he has not placed a trial ahead of me that I can not handle, although there have been times I sure have doubted that one. So, today as I rejoice, I am going to be strong, when I know sometimes I am weak. I am going to try and start looking at the glass half full, when in the past I have seen it as half empty. Today is a reminder for me to reaffirm my faith and give thanks to the one who made all of my successes possible.

Aww, so glad to hear about your dog!! It is, indeed, something to rejoice about! Easter is my favorite holiday of the year! Coming in the spring when everything is greening up and blooming and a reaffirmation of faith as well, it has always been my season for "turning things around" so to speak. It's a very hopeful time of year.
:heart1: Have a great day!

Yes! God is so generous with love for us and always wants the best for us. That's such a comforting thought and often keeps me going or picks me up out of the dumps. Hope your hand is feeling good--I'm surprised to see such a long entry from you!

Easter makes me think of counting my blessing also, and there is much to be thankful for. Hope your healing is going well. Good news about dog. You should check out nzymes.com website, we use the Oxydrops in our dog and cats water and have used it on sore areas and have had great results. Our dog also takes the Nzymes tablets and her health has been very good since very tough times the first year of her life. I don't have any ties to the company, just believe in the results!!!
