View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day

we took our dog to the vet again this morning. He had a doggy fever. The vet decided not to wait for the lab results and put him on anti- fungal meds and something for the fever. She mentioned they had one other case like this last year and the dog survived, but it took six weeks before the dog showed improvement on this one , very expensive drug. Obviously, we are willing to try this treatment even if it means three a day cleaning treatments of the wounds, feeding him baby food and cooked human food to get him to eat, syringing water into his mouth every two to four hours, and making him walk a few times a day. I may get tired, but hopefully in a few weeks I will begin to see some improvement if this new drug is going to work. It did with the other dog. I will remain hopeful at this point and trust in God for the results. I gave my little dog to the Lord, so he's in the Lord's hands now. I trust what ever will happen will happen.
Since this is a holiday weekend, I will wait to share my thought till Monday. Hope everyone has a good and enjoyable week end.

Sorry to hear you have a sick pooch, Moughi. I nursed a dog once through a severe ailment with chicken - in fact we called her "Chicken Dog," for awhile.

Let us know how it goes. Best wishes. Loser51
