Today I go to get the athletic shoes I order a few months ago. Hopefully they will fit. I have a very hard foot size to fit and because of that haven't had athletic shoes in over twenty years. I am excited that these new shoes might actually fit. If they do they will make walking a pleasure. Walking is painful for me now because my feet hurt after about 15 minutes. So, with my SI joint pain, back pain and foot pain, walking is not easy. I do it because it is good for me, but it is not without some kind of pain. The doctor tells me this pain is ok to put up with, but it would be more fun if I could eliminate some of it. This is why I do alternate water jogging with the treadmill. I do need to walk on land some because of my bones so I can't avoid it totally. I will let you all know if these shoes fit.
No cooking tonight since I made so much stew last night. I hope I calculated the calories correctly in the stew. It came out to be a low calorie stew using turkey and not beef. Hum, I have tons of ideas now running through my head on how to use turkey tenderloin.
OK, for everyone who wants to see a picture of little dog, thanks to Cheryl I think I figured out how to put a picture up on my blog. This is Xena on her pillow in the TV room. She gets on this pillow and buries herself
under a blanket. Gambit did the same thing. She is a toy Rat terrier and weighs 7 pounds. I'll try to get a pic of Gambit latter.
Shoes fit!!! And now I can walk on the treadmill with less pain. So now I order some dress sandals for my daughters wedding. I might get lucky and actually own some shoes by the time this summer is over. Tomorrow I go in for a cortisone shot in the back. Those are not much fun. These are to help the doctor locate the nerves he will burn in two weeks. Then next week I will go through some MUAs. I'll be sore all next week and won't be going to the gym next week, but I will get out and take my walks with Xena each night after dinner. I probably won't be able to blog tomorrow since I will be under the influence of medication so I'll talk to you Friday. Have a good night.
I put a new picture on, but it has disappeared again. It is still on my settings page even though the old one is out here. Don't know when CK will update it. Also. I have several after pictures that need to be cropped down, but don't know how to do that yet. Should have cropped the before picture too since you really can't see me too well in it.

More problems with pictures?! I thought we got it all sorted out! Make sure you check the overall size. That seems to be critical here. You are a wonder. I hope you find Dorothy's shoes (There's no place like home...) and that they take you to the place where you are meant to be! Best wishes, Cheryl51

If you hit f5 you may be able to refresh your view and see your new photo. That is what I did to see it.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I believe wholeheartedly what you said. I am sorry you have been affected by divorce. It is awful. No matter how strong and ready I felt and seemed, it was and is awful and hard and painful. You are right, however, that I am new. I need to find strength and peace in that and move beyond the pain and the hurt. I will continue to try. I have been uplifted by the comments today and do realize how truly blessed I am. Nice shot of Zena and of you. I have been thinking about getting a pic of myself out there, maybe I will work on it today. I am applying to retail positions, I know that work the best and I enjoy interacting with people. Glad your shoes are good.

Hope your shoes help you out. I worked on a concrete floor for years and good shoes made all the difference pain wise. In regards to yesterdays blog, I hope your spirits will lift soon. Family issues are so hard on our hearts. Take care!
