View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day

Today I had my first MUA of a series of three. I came hoe and slept through most of the day. These things leave me tired and a little sore. I just wanted to drop a note and say I blog more tomorrow night. I have two doctor appointments tomorrow and then my second MUA Wednesday. So, I probably will not be blogging much until Thursday. I did go over on calories a little today, but haven't eaten past my bedtime snack so far. Trying to get a roll going on the habit thing.
My hubby did something I was proud of. At the car show they gave away snack packages to all the people who entered. In it were a bag of chips, Famous Amos small chocolate Chip cookies and a small bag of fruit gummies.Well, I took the gummies from him because the were 80 calories and 15 gram,a perfect low blood sugar package that would fit nicely in my purse for emergencies. He took the cookies and chips. I noticed he ate the chips and brought those cookies home. I made a comment about how good they looked and how I would have a hard time resisting them. He went over and read the label. My husband reading a food label! He was floored...200 calories, that's half a lunch was his response. I think he's been around me too long because he's beginning to sound like me now. He's even cutting back on the lite beer.He is down to 204! Well,I had to smile. Good night all

Hi Lory!!! Thank you so much for you comment yesterday,I just had time to read it today. I too have pain in my back constantly, but I am so used to it,after twenty years of having it I just keep going. There was a time where I thought I woulod be disabled because I could not do anything without electric shocks, or getting stuck in certain postions. That is when I had my second back surgery and it really helped me. I still have pain, especially if I sit for a long period of time. I can stand and walk til the cows come home, it is sitting that would bother me, if anything. I can never bend very well in the morning, very stiff in the morning. I walk as soon as I get out of bed in the morning, for an hour before work. That helps me and gets me going. Exercise is my life line. When I do not exercise for a long time, I can tell because I can not move as well and I have pain. I would most likely not have the pain ,or at least not as much, if I would lose the weight. I am in neuro surgery these next two weeks. I have been doing spines, and it is remarkable what can be done now a days. I will be working my my neoro surgeon next week and I am very nervous. I am not sure if I will tell him who I am....It has been 20 years since the first and five yeares since the second. I might keep that in my back pocket in case there is a day where I am getting yelloed at....LOL I know the first thing he will say to me "lose the weight". He is VERY thin, so thin his veins stick out all over. Even when I was thin he told me to lose weight. He`d have a coronary now. I may just not tell him, we will see. I doubt he would remember me with all the patients he has had. Have a great day Lory!

I think we do rub off on our spouses after a while. My husband even started counting his calories a few months ago to take off his Christmas cookie weight. For a while there he'd pick up something and ask "How many calories in this?" He wouldn't crack open my CalorieKing booklet though--he wanted me to tell him. LOL Good luck with your MUAs!

Best of luck to you with your treatments. It seems like it all must be worth it if it brings you relief. Wow, I love your new pictures! You're a whole new woman in your after picture!. What a change. You motivate me when I read how well you're doing with your weight, walking, and eating. I've been walking 30 minutes and then I read you were walking 40 minutes and what your daughter said about what a difference 40 minutes makes to the body. Congratulations on the new shoes and the walking routine and thanks so much for sharing that information.
PS I think your husband and dogs are adorable. :teeth1: Tell your husband congratulations on his weight loss.:thumbu2:
