time to reflect

Friday, April 11th 2008

It's been a whole week since I lost Gambit now. Xena is settling in to her new routine with her playmate. She hasn't eaten well over the past few weeks since the big guy was sick. I've had good days and bad days. It's hardest at night when we all sit down to watch TV. Xena would get in Pat's lap and Gambit mine. I keep putting pillows where he once lay.
I have a web sight where I get some clothes that are perfect during this time of losing weight. They are priced economically and are good f...

More surgery

Thursday, April 10th 2008

I hate doctor appointments. I seem to live at them too. Today I went to my pain management specialist. Yes, she had cancer near her heart and these doctors just thought she had heart problem and missed the fact there was cancer in her body. By the time they found the cancer,...

SHredded Broccoli/ calculated recipes

Monday, April 7th 2008

Todays recipe comes from the Houston Chronicle recipe files. I am giving you it as it appears. I do not make it with Turmeric, but use Penzeys Northwoods Seasoning since I don't care for the Indian spice. Never the less, I am going to put the recipe down as is and remind you, you can substitute the seasoning in the recipe as I did to suit your taste. I like this one because it taste better the next day. It goes well with my lunch sandwiches and provides plenty of fiber and bulk. ( Amy you would...
