Wednesday, May 7 2008 - Early Mothers Day
View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
Tonight my daughter took my husband and I out to eat at the Kona Grill in Sugarland. We were celebrating an early Mother's Day since she will have to work that day. Aaron wasn't able to join us since he had to work late. I did well since hubby and I split entree and salad and had no dessert. I managed to save 550 calories for dinner which is good since I have no idea just how many calories dinner actually was. We had a meatloaf of some kind. A Bok choy stri fry and each had about 1/2 cup of their signature cheese mash potatoes. I had water to drink. I also had two pieces of a spicy yellowtail roll. I forgot to ask for Soybean paper and not Nori paper and to ask them to leave off the Sesame seeds so tonight I am having a little problem with my asthma. Dumb! Glad I only ate two and not more before I realized I had forgotten all of the allergy stuff.

My daughter also gave me the CD to the Amazing Grace movie. I love this sound track. It has a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace plus an add on to the song which sends chills up my spine every time I hear it. I love the movie too.
It's late tonight so I can't blog a lot tonight. Talk to everyone tomorrow.
Oh, I made a mistake, the CD is music inspired by the motion picture and it includes the Amazing Grace song sung in the movie. It's not the sound track. I'll have to tell Amy this. Still, this is a very good album. Most of the songs are very good. A contemporary version of old hymns. Yum.Good music to clean the house to and worship the Lord with.

Dinner sounds delicious! Good job on watching your portions and saving calories for it. I will have to check out that soundtrack...Amazing Grace is one of my all time favorite songs!
