View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
This week I've been busy with activities and haven't had much time to spend on the computer so you haven't heard from me. I have gotten in a lot of exercise which is good since I have eaten more than usual lately. One night my family took me out. The other night I cooked something special and needed the extra cals for the special dinner. Then, I had a few low Bgs after I ran myself down with too much exercise and not enough refueling. Overall, I need to plan a little better on the exercise and fueling bit. It's all a little new to me still since I am getting used to being able to exercising this hard for the first time in years now. This week I have been to three aquatic aerobic classes and hit the treadmill three times, plus got in some good walks with Xena. Why, we even chased a cotton tail bunny tonight for fun when we was one on our walking trail.

Xena thought that was a lot of fun. I have to admit, my appetite was huge today with all the exercise I did. I thought exercise was suppose to suppress your appetite ? It has made me hungrier in some cases. I have noticed that it also has made me thirstier. I also stayed past the aerobic water class to get in some water jogging because the class itself didn't do much for me in the cardio department. It seemed way too easy overall, except for all the bouncing on my back. Now, that I took care of by wearing my water jogging belt which now makes for an interesting class.
After class, I also helped a young fellow with some exercises and let him use some of my equipment that I had brought with me. I don't use the class equipment because it is too flimsy, so I bring my own that. He appreciated me showing him how to do a few things and will be getting some equipment of his own and probably will go water jogging in a deep water pool himself someday. He looked real lost and I had to feel for him. He couldn't have been thirty years old and had already had open heart surgery. He was a very big fellow, probably needed a 1oo or so pounds or more to shed. I thought, how sad to be that young with major heart and weight problems. I think I should put on my frig these words:
" If I eat more than I should, and eat things that are bad for me, I will do harm to my body."
Goal...to come up with more sayings for the frig to keep me from openiiiiing it!!!!!!!!!
Till tomorrow.
The picture is where Xena and I go for our walks. It is one of the little kiddie parks close to my house. We have rabbits, birds, and squirrels in this open area. The open area is a block away from my house. We also have red tip hawks and red cardinals here. Yep, a few snakes, but I don't go looking for them.

Hi Lory - thanks for your sweet comment on my blog
:blush4: What a beautiful picture of the park... and I assume Xena is your dog? I have a special fondness for the name Xena... if you check my April 16 blog there's a funny picture! Have a great Mother's Day weekend!

Look at you go Lory! That's GREAT -- I love that you're doing things that you could never do (and helping others in the process!) -- and starting to think of food more as fuel than anything else -- these are all super-successful life changes that you'll never give back and so not a temporary diet. You
