I have everything ready for my trip to Dallas. Food ready, clothes, dog packed off to daughters for the weekend. I even logged my morning and lunch meals for Sat. and have my Sunday morning breakfast packed for the return trip. That means I will be eating the wedding meal and Sunday's lunch out. I will go over Saturday because of what they are serving. They are serving Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Alfredo, Fijatas, beef and chicken, veggies of some kind, a Greek salad, fruit, cake, and a cheese plate. I will probably eat the chicken fijatas and Greek salad with fruit and maybe some rice, but it will be 7 by the time we eat. My reserve will be down by then for sure. I know I can resist the cake. I want to stay for the brunch the next day, but Pat wants to head home since we are bringing our food. He has plans for the rest of the weekend. Oh well, hubby rules.

My daughter liked my wedding outfit. She was happy that I got the pant suit over what I originally got. Now she wants her father to get a blue suit so we will match. See, I told you, I got the suit to get my daughter off my back and to make her relax. Now she is relaxed and so is Future MIL who was also getting upset that I hadn't gone shopping. Gee, you think everyone would give me a break here since I'm trying to lose some weight. Talk about pressure. At least this outfit was on clearance and I didn't put out that much money on it compared to people who buy those mother of the bride outfits.

You wouldn't catch me in any of those for the life of me. Hubby will have to go get a real suit though. He owns a sports coat, but that's it. Engineers in his field don't dress up in suits and ties, saves us a bundle.
I have come up with a way to get me to focus on staying within my calorie range of 1252-1330 calories. Note, I can still lose weight when I go over if I exercise. Losing weight is not my goal. I figure if I concentrate on staying within my set calorie range that will be a by product. I want to train myself not to go over which I do all the time. I'm always stretching the boundaries. So, I took Gambit's old treat jar and made it my reward jar. Every time I stay within my calorie count for the day, I will put a dollar in it. When I hit maintenance I will put a dollar in for every day that I stay on my weight goal. My husband liked the idea. I can only spend the money on something I want and not an activity we do together or food. He said for example, new clothes, one of those ponies that I'm collecting, a CD, exercise equipment, etc. Well, tonight I got to put my first dollar in.

Maybe this will keep my hand out of the marshmallow jar when I give Xena her medicine.
I would like to introduce everyone to a new CK pal of mine named Ellen. You can reach her blog by going to ellencherry. Ellen is new to Ck and I thought everyone might want to drop by and say hi to her. HI Ellen if you read my blog tonight.

Well, I got to go read and catch up on everyone else's blogs. Talk to you Sunday. Have a good hoilday.

Cool idea about the reward system! I think it's so silly that people were pressuring you to go shopping - well, whatever, at least it's over and you have yourself a beautiful suit! I bet you look great! You are also very well prepared and planned for this weekend - food-wise, which makes you so much more likely to eat in a satisfying and healthy (vs. overly indulgent) way. Hae a great time!

Good idea on the reward jar. I am glad the clothes you bought have lessened some pressure for you and your daughter, you made a good choice. I love chicken fajitas, I pile on the salsa for flavor and volume because it has so little calories. Have a great time at the wedding!!
