MOUGHI's CalorieKing blog

Sunday, Jun 29 2008 - Sunday's exercise

View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day

Just a short note since this is Sunday. I am continuing to do well on the treadmill. I managed an hour today and got up to 2.4 speed for 50 minutes and 2.5 for 1o minutes. I used up 192 calories for the first time. This is good because I need to come up with 200 extra calories in order to break this plateau according to Beck. It either must come from cutting food intake or from exercise. I have done a little of both to equal the 200 cals. Now if I can sustain this for a while I might get my metabolism rolling again and get these last 20 pounds off. I figure I will have a bulging belly left over no matter what due to two c-sections and some abdominal surgery a few years back. I don't plan on a tummy tuck, so, I may always have a little pooch left over from being over weight and being a mom. Hubby doesn't seem to ming. He likes my , :$, well other parts, that are improving with all that exercise. Got to love those men who have seen us through all these transformations.:) Part of my pleasure has been seeing his smile at my new look. He didn't ask me to lose, but I can see he is now enjoying my new look. I enjoying keeping up with him now. In fact he better look out, I might get in better shape than he is if he doesn't get his ankle in condition.
Everyone have a good evening.

Hi Lory: You are doing great indeed, and have knowledge of how to break your plateau. In my family, we women call the tummy pooch "the kittens" -- because when we sit down they sit in our laps all warm and cosy, just like the pet cat! Best to you this week. -Otter

You are going strong on beating your plateau!!! I weighed 120 pounds when I met my husband, I would love to get within 10-15 pounds of that! He has put on 20 pounds since then, but he was underweight before so he looks good now.

Pretty soon I'll weigh less than I did when I met my husband. I keep showing off my new biceps and triceps to him but he hasn't really mentioned much about seeing things "firm up". Hopefully he'll say something soon.
