Wednesday, Jul 9 2008 - Glad tha't done
View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
I'm sure glad today is over and done with. I got to the clinic to find that the clinic didn't have my paper work for my procedure.

Apparently I was my doctor's only patient there today and they didn't know he was coming in. Ha, I almost had a stroke going through all I had the night before to only be sent home, but one phone call to the doctor confirmed what I had told them.

Things went off well and I was out of there with no waiting time. Yea. Didn't really want to watch the entire thing, but my doctor never sedates his patients to the point of putting them to sleepy la la land unless he has to, me included.

I got a great view of parts of me I never ....well, the rest could be left to everyones imagination. I have felt great all day since I wasn't knocked out all day. Food wise, I could eat almost anything but real spicy stuff today, but I haven't been that hungry. Wonder why.
I got a call from my Physical Therapist who wants to start a new program working on my upper body strength. We will be doing free weights and seeing if I can increase my core strength as well. I may look into a trainer afterward to help me continue with my exercise program after I'm finished with PT if it is necessary to help me continue on. This may mean I will have to change out my gym membership from LA Fitness to 24 Hour Fitness which has better and more equipment that I can use. It also means more money and a longer drive time. My hubby will agree to it if I need it. The other gym that would be the best choice for me also has a deep water pool where I could water jog every other day. This gym is the longest drive from my house and cost the most, but has the best equipment and the best pool, plus hot water pools for when mu back hurts. My doctor really thinks this is the gym I should belong to. They unfortunately are 80.00 a month unless you can work out a 5 day pass for less. That would be double what I'm paying now and I don't know if it's worth it. Unfortunately, sometimes rehab is not cheap and insurance does not pay out. I don't have this kind of money now, so I am thinking switching to 24 hour fitness might be the good compromise. Decisions ! Short blog. still a little sore...can't sit for too long. Talk to everyone latter.

Glad everythging went smoothly after that close call! I think I'll be one of those that has to be knocked out cold - call it trust issues.
:smile1: Please go lie down or something.

I was going to ask if your insurance would cover any of the gym membership, I guess not. I am glad that you got your procedure done after all that. $80 a month is terribly expensive!
